Guardian Angels Cat Rescue & Adoption Shelter was started in 1999 by Virginia Harvey (seen left), who was soon joined by other volunteers. GACC has been at the 873 Park Avenue, Hot Springs, Arkansas, location since about 2001. Every volunteer cares deeply about the welfare of the many homeless but adoptable cats and kittens in Hot Springs and Garland County .

Our continued existence depends entirely upon donations, purchases from our thrift shop, and a stable crew of dedicated volunteers. We are always in need of these resources in order to continue our work. Please, won't you come join us to help us to continue the work?

We believe that a cageless shelter promotes a more homelike environment for the cats and for prospective adopters. You can make the acquaintance of each of the cats and have a better chance of finding the right fit for your or your family. Our goal is to find permanent indoor homes that will provide proper care and plenty of love to these deserving felines! We are dedicated to getting cats off the streets and into their own forever homes!
